Priced for $1.19, now iTunes is offering the iOS game Zombies Ala Mode for FREE! Zombies Ala Mode is a scoop-catching dexterity game, in which you slide your zombie waiter back and forth so he can catch falling lumps of ice cream into his empty cone. There's a bit more to it, though, in that you need to catch the right kind of scoops in order to meet the orders placed by zombie customers. And then obstacles -- which you must avoid -- start falling along with the scoops. Be aware that while the artwork is very cartoony, the characters are undead zombies, and there are some visual gags that may bother younger children, like falling zombie heads. Also be aware that there is some juvenile humor, including poop jokes.
