I know phones now have the capacity to be your GPS in the car but I find it cumbersome to mount a phone on the dashboard and then take it with me when I exit the car. I have lost count how many times I have left it in the car and have had to go back to get it. So I bought the TomTom XXL 540 In-Car GPS and it has saved my life a few times when I have gotten lost. It is touch screen and has a 5" screen which is great for my vision and driving since I don't have to squint or come closer to it. It has Advanced Lane Guidance which shows exactly which lane you have to take in anticipation of junctions so you won't miss your turn. I'm very impressed with the IQ Routes technology which calculates the fastest route in real-time.
