I'm a huge Tom Clancy fan since I read a few of my dad's Tom Clancy books. Sure, it was a bit weird for a pre-teen girl to be lugging around paperbacks about espionage and military science but it was a great escape from reality and has fed my continuing fascination with spies and the military.
