You can watch it for free at any of the following venues: August 16th at BCC Cairns City; at Chermside MEGAPLEX, Cineplex in Balmoral BCC, and Pacific Fair, BCC on August 15th. Set in Ireland, this comedy, The Guard, follows two police officers, FBI agent Wendell Everett and Sergeant Gerry Boyle. Agent Wendell Everett travels to meet Sergeant Boyle in the small town he polices to address a local cocaine-smuggling ring, an issue Sergeant Boyle is virtually indifferent towards. Agent Wendell Everett has to deal with Boyle's confrontational personality among other things as they both fight crime as partners.
