Good news to Tasmania Great people! You can enjoy free Bus travel fare on weekend of February 9th to 11th. You can watch the Hobart Cup without driving yourself there. You have to hurry though because during these days, there are a lot of fun activities. You can join the Wooden Boat Festival, Hobart Cup, Festivale in Launceston and Hobart Regatta. Due to these activities, Metro's service schedules have been adjusted and extended than there normal operating hours to accommodate travellers. I guess this is one way of encouraging people to use their service during week days too (shopping, working, going to beaches or schools). Thus, giving out free fare from and to Tasmania Great this coming weekend. By the way, going to Burnie and Launceston on February 11th, Monday will have a standard fare.
