Makita 18V LXT Li-Ion Hedge Trimmer Skin is now being sold at Sydney Tools. It is packed with a Lithium-ion battery which is lighter, charge quicker and more run time than the conventional Ni-Cad or Ni-MH battery; rubberized grip, high anti-abrasion surface, stain-free shear blade; and battery indicator lights to indicate battery status: blinking red (warning), solid red (nearly used up), off (drained). This is functional only paired with a Makita cordless set, and so you must have it. If you don't then it's no use. But, if you already have the Makita cordless set, then this baby is just what you need. Take note also that batteries and charger is NOT included, so you will have to provide it.
