Only $2060 for a L.A to Sydney ticket with Virgin Australia

Hey guys, my friends just announce me about the discount of Virgin Australia. Not sure how long this will last I'm pretty sure this is a real bargain. For flights from Los Angeles to Sydney, it will normally cost $3500 + rtn but Virginia Australia only charges $2056 + $30 booking fee. My friend booked the flight from 2nd october 2014 to end of October. This is quite a good price comparing to the same itinerary with Economy cost about $1800 RTN. I just bought 2 tickets also.
