Build your own Virtual Reality headset for only $3!

Google Cardboard is a project undertaken by Google to make Virtual Reality available for everyone with a smartphone capable of Android 4.1 and higher. By using cardboard cutouts and their specially made lens, you can create a virtual reality headset named Google Cardboard after installing the program onto your phone. Then you can use their specially made program to create your own virtual reality experiences much like with Oculus Rift except without the $300 price tag. This is a completely Do It Yourself project so if you buy it, you understand that you're only getting the lens. Everything else is up to you to gather and create.
