Calling all Uber users out there. Due to the siege incident that happen at Martin's Place a few hours ago, a lot of people were worried for their safety and have decided to move out of Sydney at the moment. And since transportation is expected to be crowded because of this. The company is offering Uber Trips out of the city for free. All you need to do is use your Uber app to book a trip. Do note that this is exclusively for trips going out of the Central Business District. Trips going in and in other routes will stay at the usual rates.
